Global Information Technology Academy
GITA is a 4 year IT program offered at Brea High school that encourages kids to solve real world problems. Each level is taught at a college level. This allows students to be able to meet the demand of the rapidly changing technology.
My name is Austen Lee. I am a sophmore and I love computer science. In GITA 1 we learned how to code in C# on a platform called Visual Studios. This year we are learning CSS and JavaScript. We are also preparing for the AP exam on Computer Science Principles. This is a very interesting class, and I would highly recommend it. I also play the piano and am CM level 7, testing for level 8!
I am currently taking 4 AP classes: AP Computer Science Principles, AP European History, AP Seminar, and AP Pre-Calculus.
I am currently in 4 clubs. Red Cross, Brea Rotary, μbotics, and Korean Culture Club. I like giving back to my community in any way that I can. I especially like serving the children at Church. They are cute and energetic, but it is very fun to minister the Gospel to them through events like VBS and Trunk or Treat.
I want to become either a Computer Scientist or a Pharmacist and striving to go to a UC or CSU for college.
